We run a bright, friendly refuge for women and their children who need a place of safety.
We asked some of our current residents what we should let you know about us. They said to tell you:
• It’s safe
• Supportive and friendly
• Staffed 24 hours a day every day
• A good place for children
• There is confidential and one to one support
• Health Visitors and nurses visit
• You’ll be staying with people who will listen and not judge you
• We employ play workers who organise activities for children
• We offer alternative therapies
• There are friendly coffee mornings
• We run a friendly and supportive women’s group
• Teenagers, boys and girls, are welcomed and supported
• If you do not have any money the staff can help you access benefits you may be entitled to receive

The Rooms and Building
• It is bright and clean and comfortable
• Every family has its own room with private bathroom
• There are communal sitting and dining areas too
• There is a play area for children packed with toys and books
• There is a special room for older children with computers and games
• In addition, there are 2 self contained flats large enough for families.
One is wheelchair accessible.
